Trafag at the CIMAC Congress 2025
Trafag received keen interest in its future fuels-compatible sensors at the CIMAC Congress in Zurich.
The 31st International Council on Combustion Engines and Machinery for Power Generation and Propulsion (CIMAC) World Congress took place in Zurich in May 2025. It was a meeting place for leading experts from the fields of large engines, drive systems, and energy.
Over 900 specialists and professionals from more than 20 countries attended the event, which featured over 200 presentations, panel discussions, an exhibition, poster sessions, social gatherings and technical tours.
The focus was on some of the most pressing issues of our time, namely decarbonisation and potential solutions such as the use of eFuels. Trafag attracted a lot of interest at its stand, where it presented pressure measurement solutions that enable engines to operate more efficiently. Its future-fuel-compatible pressure sensors, which enable highly accurate measurements with LNG, ammonia, methanol and hydrogen, were particularly well received. Thanks to their long-term stability, they are in high demand on the market.
