Premises

Since 2012, Trafag's headquarters has been located in a purpose-built building in Bubikon. The aim of the new building was to provide optimal space for the various departments and enable smooth operations. Care was also taken to ensure that there was sufficient space for future business expansion. When constructing the building, emphasis was also placed on low resource consumption: The building has been constructed strictly in accordance with the Minergie label for sustainable construction and is certified accordingly.

In operation, attention is paid to low energy consumption: electricity is obtained from sustainably produced sources, unless it is generated by photovoltaics.

The building envelope was designed as a Faraday cage to protect the production of sensitive electronic devices from electromagnetic radiation. It also reduces heat radiation in summer and thus reduces the need for cooling.
