The trend of analysing process and diagnostic data in complex plants is increasing. Devices with CANopen bus protocol now play a central role. The benefits can be advanced when implementation is simple and user friendly programme modules are available.

The smaller CMP pressure transmitter has been developed based the success of its COP pressure transmitter. It has been adapted to the latest requirements of CANopen devices.

Reliability, robustness and high measurement accuracy remain the key characteristics of the new version. The O-ring free thin-film-on-steel sensor technology allows for an almost limited choice of measurement media and it is very resistant against high pressure peaks and overpressures.

The CMP is the most compact pressure transmitter with CANopen bus protocol available and has many features to offer: Media temperature range -50...+135°C, vibration 50g, Total Error band @ 25...85°C: 0.2%FS. Thanks to in-house software development Trafag has the ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
